JUDr. Monika Feigerlová, Ph.D., LL.M.

Monika Feigerlová has been practicing law since 2003 and was admitted to the Czech Bar Association in 2007. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno (2003) and obtained a PhD. in civil law at Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (2009).

In the course of her studies, she undertook a programme in international business law at Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 2002. She also completed post-graduate studies in International Dispute Settlement (LL.M.) at the Graduate Institute and University of Geneva (2012).

Prior to joining law office Pavela, Monika spent more than 8 years in leading law firms in Prague in a highly international environment, providing legal services to major domestic and international clients. She also obtained training at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre and the ICC Arbitration Court in Paris.

Monika has considerable experience in advising on both cross-border as well as domestic transactions and in her legal practice she focuses on litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals (contracts on work, lease agreements, post-acquisition disputes), corporate law (mergers, corporate reorganizations, transfers of undertakings, and takeover bids), and real estate (due diligence, purchase and sale agreements, landlord/tenant issues and property development). She has also in-depth legal expertise in international investment law and international arbitration. She is a member of the Grading Committee of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Program at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and to a number of professional organizations focused on international law (OGEMID, LCIA Young International Arbitration Group, ASA Below 40).

She speaks Czech, English and French.
